COMMUNITY SUPPORT PROGRAM (CSP)
All clients in the program will identify goals that they wish to work on with a Recovery Specialist in order to develop their own plan of care with a main emphasis on promoting individual decision making.
CSP is a community-based program that uses a comprehensive, recovery oriented approach that integrates treatment, support, and rehabilitation. Our primary goal is to assist individuals with psychiatric disabilities to achieve successes that lead to enhanced independence and self-sufficiency.
Services provided include connecting clients with resources in the community, developing satisfying relationships, and becoming more self-sufficient.
Other services provided by the Recovery Specialists in this program are money management education, teaching clients to fill out their own paperwork to maintain their benefits, teaching independent living skills, pre-vocational skills, and self expression.
Recovery Specialists advocate for clients to ensure that they are receiving the best possible care, as well as assisting clients in maintaining their housing and increasing self-sufficiency.
While in this program, clients are encouraged to attend various therapeutic groups that are provided by the Recovery Specialists and Clinicians within the agency.
The CSP program is a DMHAS funded program and is available to clients who meet eligibility requirements through an internal as well as external referral process.
Eligibility requirements:
