Community closet volunteers will help organize and distribute clothing in the community closet for LifeBridge clients.
For volunteers who are not comfortable taking on a public-facing role, there are still plenty of ways to help. There will be shifts available strictly for sorting and organizing clothing while the community closet is closed to the public. Interactions during these shifts would be limited to the shift supervisor and a small pod of volunteers grouped together based on availability.
When the community closet is open, volunteers are essential in creating a friendly, open and safe environment for clients by answering questions and offering assistance. In accordance with COVID-19 health and safety guidelines, the number of clients able to enter at one time will be limited.
